Chapter 16: I'll Be Your First

"I'm sorry, what?" I asked in confusing and sitting up on the bed.

"I'll be your first" Rudra repeated. I scoffed. I got out of bed and headed to the door until Rudra grabbed my arm. He turned me around to face him. He put his hands on my shoulders and looked at me dead in the eyes.

"I'll be your first for everything " he repeated again.

" What you mean by that" feeling a bit more confused now.

"I'll be first kiss, first love, first to marry, first to make love to you, first to break your heart, I promise you that" he responded.

"You can't promise me that" I grumble. He's being ridiculous now.

"Yes I can watch me and you know why?" He asked with a smug look on his face, looking confident. I just shook my head. He lean closer and whisper in my ear, his hot breath tickling the shell of my ear.

"Because you are mine Rani. You belong to me. Every part and inch of you, inside and out belongs to me and I won't let anybody take you away from me. I'll will make sure of that my pretty little demon" he whispered seductively.

"But I hope I won't have to do last bit" he added.

"And how the hell are going to promise me all of that?" I questioned.

"I don't know but I'll find away. I give you my word" he shrugged. I just gave him a blank stare.

"Ok" having nothing else to say.

"You don't believe I can't do it?" He asked. I just shook my head again. He cupped my face and stoking my face with his thumb.

"There's a promise I can do right now" he smirked but before I could ask what he ment, he leaned in and kissed me. The kiss was soft and gentle. There was so much affection from him. The kiss only last a few second but it felt so much more. He leaned back and looked at me.

"How was that my pretty little demon?" He asked. Looking at me to see my reaction.

"Perfect" was the only word that was needed at this moment. He smiled lovingly.

"Good cause I'm planning to keep doing it for the rest of our lives" he winked at me. I snorted.

"Cheesey much?" I teased.

"Only for you my pretty little demon" he cooed. He nuzzled my nose and giving me butterflies kisses all over my face. I giggled.

"Come, you sleep with me tonight. It's been a long day" he stated softly. He pulled on to the bed and put the duvet over us. Pulled me close to his chest, facing each other.

"Goodnight my pretty little demon" he whispered.

"Goodnight swamp beast" I whispered back, giving him a kiss on the nose. He grinned. Giving me a kiss on the forehead and nuzzled my nose. I snuggled up to him, smelling like peppermint and chocolate, and Rudra wrap his arm around me. We drifted off to sleep after that.

For the past few weeks has been gone by fast and uneventful. Rudra has been very affection towards me. He said that he want me to feel special; so he banned me from doing housework and doing my daily routine for him. He said I'm a princess now and I should be treated as one. He even demanded that people should spread the word that I should be treated no less than a princess and show me some respect. I protested to he many time that he don't have to do that cause I don't want people treating me differently. They hate me as it is already but he insisted that I should be treated like royalty and if they don't then he'll deal with them personally. Doesn't he realise that he making it worse for me? I don't like the attention.

I haven't seen Rudra's parents during this past few weeks. Probably because they're avoiding him after the heated argument that day. They don't blame them though; I would avoid Rudra after that incident too.

Today I'm in the library reading as I have nothing else to do now. I was so involved with the book that I didn't notice that Rudra was sitting next to me.

"What my pretty little demon read?" He asked. I yelped.

"Stop doing that. I scared me half to death" I snapped. Clutching my chest, breathing haverly after the shock of Rudra sudden appearance. He chuckled.

"So my little princess" he cooed.

"World you stop calling me that" I hissed.

"Call you what?" He asked, looking all innercent.

"You know what. Calling me princess"

"Why not?" He asked, a frown on his face.

"Cause I'm not a princess and more importantly, I don't like it" I grumbled.

"But you are a princess. Your my princess and I'm your prince. We're together that's make you automatically a princess, making you royalty" he stated, sounding hurt. Ugh, great now I'm the bad guy.

"Fine, I'm your princess" I huffed. He grinned.

"Now can I continue my book now?" I asked annoyed.

"Of course but can I have a kiss?" Giving me puppy dogs eyes.

"Nope" I said and he frowned.

"Pretty please" he pouted. Ugh, when did he become needy?

"Fine, just because you asked nicely" I teased. I gave him a peck on the lips. He didn't like that.

"I ask a kiss, not a peck" he whined. Geeze needy much.

"What's wrong with...." I didn't get to finish my sentence when Rudra grabbed my face and gave me big, passionate kiss.

"There, much better. That would do me for a bit" Rudra said happily. I just rolled my eyes.

"Can I please read my book now" I asked again.

"Sure" he replied. He lifed me up from my chair and put me on his lap. I continued reading my book as Rudra was nibbling and giving me light kisses on my neck. I noticed he likes doing that to me.

"What are you reading?" Rudra asked, looking over me curiosity.

"It's a horror story about witches and vampires waging war against humans" I replied.

"Interestingly" he said with a lack of interest.

"It's a good thing I'm reading the book and not you" I mused. He just scoffed. We were enjoying are silent when one of the omgas servant walked in.

"Your majesty" they bowed.

"What?" Rudra growed. I elbowed him gorgeous being rude.

"The king and queen requested that you joined them for dinner at the food hall" the servant said respectful.

"Tell them I'm not interested. Me and Rani will eat here" he said dismissively.

"They insist that you join them and I've been order to stay here until you do" they replied nervously.

"Then I guess you'll be standing there all day then" Rudra said bluntly. What cowards they are and using a servant to do their bidding. Pathetic I thought.

"You should go swamp beast. You guys can't avoid each other forever" I reasoned. He scoffed.

"I could try" he mumbled.

"You have to see them soon or later"

"Fine but you're coming with me" he said leaving no room for argument. I just nod to him. He seems pleased with that and gave me a peck on the lips. The servant had relief on their face.

"Tell them I'm on my way" waving his hand dismissively. The servant bowed and left the room. Rudra push me off his lap and holding my hand, and headed to the food hall.

"If they are disrespectful to you, I swear to goddess and mother of all dragons, I will let hell loose" he gritted.

"It'll be ok Rudra. It's just one dinner. We can get through this together" I assured him. He gave me a gratitude smile and gave a kiss to my forehead.

"I don't deserve you"

"I know" I said smugly. He snorted, rolling his eyes. When we got there, we saw Rudra's parents sitting at the royal table. I can't believe what I'm seeing, Raiden and her parents was there, joining them. Rudra growled when he saw Raiden. I squeezed his hand, he looking at me.

"Hey, we got this. It's just one dinner then we can leave. Ok" I whispered sincerely. He put my hands on his lips and kissed my knuckles, gaving me a small smile. We can do this I said to myself. Lets get this over with.
