Rani

Watching Rudra's dragon, with all his glory. He was so beautiful. He looked so strong and powerful. You could feel it radiating off of him. Those golden eyes staring back at me like we were the only ones here. I could not get enough of looking at them. They were so memorising.

People were clapping and cheering or the successful transformation; making come out of my trance. Rudra roared once more, spreading his large wings. Then he took off into the night sky. People was still cheering, watching him flying around the pack house. He was breathing fire above us then there were sparks floating down. It looks like they were fireflies. Surprisingly, the little sparks wasn't hot but warmth to it. It felt nice. Rudra came back down on the ground with a thud. Smoke coming out of him and fire swirling around him just like before then transform back to himself but he tall and more muscular, if that even possible. His clothes were still intact. Impressive. He looked back at me with warmth in his eyes. He was about to walk over to me when his father stop him. His father looked over to the crowd with the queen by his side.

"Lady and gentlemen, we have finally witness my son transform into his dragon successfully. However, we have another announcement for you" the king started. People was whispering and mumbling.

"Me and my wife are happy announce that my son, Rudra, is engage to lady Raiden of the Blue moon pack. These two couple will join the pack together. Raiden, my dear, join us and your parents too" the king suggested. Raiden and her parents came over and stood next to the king.

"Big cheers for the happy couple. Let us celebrate the union" he boomed. That's when everyone cheered some more. Raiden was shaking with fury, his hands Clenching into a fist. He was breathing heavily. He looked humacidle. However, Raiden's parents was thrilled, big grins on their faces. The king and queen was cheerful and gratulating them. Raiden beamed and was going to hold Rudra hands but flinched away from her like she was diseased animal, making her face drop. Rudra was trying to get to me, concern in his eyes but the guests was surrounding him and graduating him of his engagement. I was frozen on the spot. My chest started to tighten. I felt my skin started to itch. I could hear whispers around me.

"Raiden is so luck"

"They look good together"

"I wish I was in her shoes"

"The pack will be even stronger now"

"who was he dancing with at the hall?"

"what a beautiful couple"

The whispers won't stop, causing me to have killer headache. They won't be quite. They were too loud. I have to leave so I ran. Running through the crowd and headed to the woods. I need to get away from them. I kept on running, kicking off my shoes in the, process. I didn't have a destination, I just need to run. I fell to my knees, my hands on the ground. My chest tightened a little more, making it hard to breathe. My skin still itches and it was burning. Then I felt my bones breaking. I don't know what is happening to me. It hurts so much. I screamed in pain. Not knowing what to do. The pain won't stop. It was agonising. The next thing I knew blackness consumed me and I welcomed it with the only thought was Rudra. The only word I could muster.

"Rudra" I whispered, hoping he could hear me.

Rudra

What the f**k. Are my parents insane. I did this deliberately, to make sure I won't back down. I never how badly i wanted to stragle their necks. s**t! They made it more complicated. I want to go to Rani and comfort her. I want tell her that it's going to be ok, I don't how but I would find a way. The pain in her eyes told me that she was heart broken. Raiden tried to hold my hand but I flinched my hand away. She has the audacity to touch me. She make my skin crawl.

I tried to go to her but people was crowding me, saying their congratulations to me. I didn't care. I just want to get to Rani, my pretty little demon. I saw her running off into the woods. Then I had this dreading feeling in my gut. Rani, she's in trouble. I don't know how I know but what I do know that I had to get to her but these bloody people are in my way.

"Move" I roared as the same time pushing them out of my way. I didn't care if stepped on them or shoved them. I just need to get to Rani. I started shifting into my wolf and dashed into the woods. Ran and ran trying to find her sense. When I was running I heard a voice.

"Rudra" it was like whisper. Was that her? Was she trying to call me? I ran even faster. Going on my instinct, I ran where she'll be. Like a pull that would lead me to her. Then I smelt her, apple wood and cinnamon wofting in the air. She was close so ran towards it. When I was closer, I stopped in my track and what I saw shocked me. There was a wolf. Not an ordinary wolf but a golden wolf that was lying down on the ground. The wolf was surrounded by black and purple flames. I was memorise. Was the wolf Rani. It feels like her and smelt like her but I wasn't sure. Walked closer to it with curious steps. When I got closer, I couldn't help but thought how beautiful the wolf was. The most gorgeous wolf I have ever seen. It shifted a bit then they lifted their head and turned to face me. I notice that their eyes was midnight purple eyes flecks of white in them. Almost like stars. They stared at me with curiously. The flames finally died down and walked a little closer. I shift back into my human form. I crotch down lifting my hand up to let them know that I mean no harm. I stared at those piercing eyes. I ask the only thing I wanted to know,

"Rani? Is that you?"
