Chapter 39: Get Ready To Leave For Blue Moon Pack

What does my father want? I just made up with Rani. Can't we have a moment of peace without people ruining it? This better be important for him to interrupt us. I grumbled.

"You should go see your father and see what he wants" Rani suggested calmly.

"He can wait for a bit. I still got a lot of making up to you" I said.

"There's no need for you to do that. Just go and see your father" she said assured. I signed and rubbing my forehead with frustration.

"Fine but can you come with me?" I asked.

"Don't think that's a good idea after what I did to him" she said hesitantly. I scoffed

"He deserved it and I'll make sure he won't cause you warm. You have my word" I reassured her. She still looked hesitant.

"You're with me, that's mean that you're safe. Ok?" I said sincerely.

"Ok I'll come" she agreed. I signed with relief. I took her hand and we headed of to see my father. We made to his office. I was about to walk in when Rani stopped me.

"What's wrong? Why did you stop me?" I asked concerned. Thinking that she has changed her mind.

"You should knock first, Rudra" she scolded me. Oh is that it?

"Why should I? He's expecting me" I said bluntly. She didn't looked pleased with that.

"I know he's your father and you're use to barge in all the time but there's no harm for you to knock. He is the king after all" she reasoned. I groaned.

"Why are you being so reasonable? Everything that my family put you through, you're still show them respect?" I asked in disbelief.

"Yes. I don't want any trouble and I'm tired of always fighting" she said simply. I signed.

"You're too good for these people, including me. If it make you happy then I'll knock" I said defeatedly. She smiled warm at me. She stepped on her tippy toes and kiss me on the cheek. I kissed her forehead and licked her scar. I knocked on the door and waited for response.

"Enter" my father answered. I walked in, Rani right behind me. My father looked up and he looked shocked. I'm not surprised cause I don't normally knock.

"You asked for my present" I said getting to the point.

"Yes, your presence not with her" my father pointed out as he looked at Rani with disgust.

"Whatever you got to say, you can say it in front of Rani" I growled. Not liking how he's disrespecting her. Rani was rubbing my arm to calm me down. It helped a little. My father grumbled.

"Fine, whatever. I called you here to remind you that we'll be going to the Blue Moon Pack tomorrow" my father said. s**t! I forgot about that. I forgot to mention that to Rani. I looked down at her, to see if she was angry. To my surprise, she looked natural to the news.

"Is that it? You called me here just for that?" Getting frustrated. I can't believe he called me here just to remind me of that.

"No, not just that. I also want to say that we'll be joining the St.Clear to their pack" my father added.

"I thought they left?" I said absentmindedly.

"They were ment to leave five days ago but you were in a rut; so they stayed but I don't know why they stayed is a mystery to me" my Rani interject. Me and my father looked at her in surprise.

"How did you know that?" My father asked surprised.

"People talk in this pack" she said simply.

"But you wasn't ment to know that" my father said annoyed. Why shouldn't she know that? She was going to come with anyway.

"I guess that's the benefit of being a outcast to this pack. People don't notice you that you're there when they are gossiping" my Rani said unbothered. That crushed me. My pretty little demon deserve to be treated equally and much more. I'm ashamed for not protecting her more. Rani squeeze my hand gently for comfort, like she knows how I'm feeling. My father cleared his throat.

"Well then, I guess there's no point of hiding it but you're not coming with us" my father grumbled.

"Yes she is. I told you if I'm going she's going with me cause I'm not leaving her" I growled. I can't believe he thinks I'll leave Rani here all on her own. He's crazy to think that.

"Fine. She'll come with us" my father gritted.

"Well is there nothing else to discuss, can we go?" I said impatiently.

"Yes that's all. Just get your stuff ready for tomorrow. We'll be leaving tomorrow after breakfast. I need to talk to Raiden and alpha Johnson anyway. They will be here any moment" my father said dismissively. I took Rani's hand and we left. As soon as we left, I saw Raiden and alpha Johnson walking towards us.

"Prince Rudra, Rani" alpha Johnson greeted us.

"Prince Rudra, Rani" Raiden greeted us less friendly than her father.

"Alpha Johnson, Raiden" greeted them with same attitude as Raiden did.

"Alpha Johnson and Raiden" Rani greeted and bowing respectfully. Why is she bowing? Doesn't she knows that she above them? Alpha Johnson said Raiden was surprised by that.

"There's no need to for that Rani" alpha Johnson laughed nervously. Raiden just scoffed.

"How are you both doing today?" He asked politely.

"Good" I said simply.

"Good, thanks for asking alpha Johnson" Rani said respectfully.

"Good to hear" he said sincerely.

"Lets go papa. We don't want to keep the king waiting" Raiden said. Ready to leave us. The feeling is natural.

"Oh yes, we must be going. We will see you tomorrow" he said and bowing to us. At least he knows how to show respect unlike his wife and daughter. They were headed to my father's office. I was about to walk away when Raiden said something.

"Oh and Rudra? Can't wait to have you at my birthday celebration when we arrive to my pack" she said over her shoulder cheerfully. That b***h. She's trying to put a wedge between me and Rani. Goddess I want to killer badly. I growled. I was about to go after her when Rani stopped me.

"Don't let her get to you. Be better, do better that I know you are. Control your emotions" Rani said sternly as she was pulled me away. She dragged me to our bedroom and once we were in the bedroom, Rani started packing.

"Umm Rani? Are you mad at me?" I asked worried. Afraid that she'll leave me.

"No. Why do you think that?" She said as she was busy packing her things.

"Cause I haven't told you about going to the Blue Moon Pack" I answered nervously. She stopped what she was doing and turned to face me. She walked up to me and cupped my face with her small warm hands.

"Rudra, darling I'm not mad at you for not telling me about going to the Blue Moon Pack. So quite worrying" she said softly.

"Really? Cause I was going to tell you. Promise" I rushed out.

"Yes really and I'm assured that you would of told me few days ago before your little incident?" She questioned.

"Yes of course and I'm sorry about that. Truly, truly sorry" I said remorsefully.

"It's ok, Rudra, it's ok. Honestly, just breathe" she cooed. I signed with relief. I couldn't help but kiss her. Putting all of my emotions into it and expressing how I feel about her.

"I love you my pretty little demon" I said sincerely.

"I know, dido" she replied lovingly.

"Let finish packing for tomorrow. It's going to be a long journey" she stated.

"Of course. Lets start packing" I agreed. We started packing for tomorrow. How did I get so lucky to have a person, who's so understanding, to a person, who a cruel, dangerous, phycho, like me. I'll make sure she knows that how I'm grateful to have her in my life. That's a promise my pretty little demon.
