Chapter 40: Going To The Blue Moon Pack: Are You Looking Forward To It?

Today is the day that we'll be heading to the Blue Moon Pack. I'm not going to lie, I'm a little nervous going cause I never left The Midnight Dragon Pack and this is my first travelling but I'm also excited. Going to a new environment, the culture, trying different foods and the people. I hope they're friendly.

I was busy finishing packing when I felt a pair of arms wrapped around my waist.

"Nearly finished, my pretty little demon?" Rudra whispered. Resting his head on my shoulder.

"Yes. Just need to pack a few more things then I'm done" I answered simply.

"Good cause the carriage is ready to leave" he stated.

"Ok. I just need to add one more thing then I'm done" I said. I release from Rudra hold, which made him pout, and went over to the bedside table and took out my dagger that Marco gave for my birthday. I miss him. Where are you Marco? I hope you're ok? I couldn't help but whip my tears away from my eyes. Rudra went up to me and made me face him.

"Hey hey, why are you crying, my love?" He asked concerning.

"I miss Marco. I'm worried about him. I just want him back" I said honestly. Rudra pulled me into his chest and rubbed my back comforting in circular motion.

"I know you do. We will find him, sweetheart no matter how long it takes. You have my word" Rudra said thoughtfully.

"You promised you will try to find him?" I sniffed.

"I promised, my pretty little demon" he said assuming.

"Thank you swamp beast. You're the best" I said greatfully.

"There's no need to thank me, my love. That's what couples do, no?" he said warmly; cupping my face and whipping my tears away from eyes. He kissed me softly on lips and licked my scar on my left eye.

"Lets see that smile of yours that I love to see" he commanded softly. I gave him a loving smile. He gave one back.

"You're too adorable" he cooed. I blushed. I put my dagger with the rest of my luggage and zipped it up. I was about to pick it up when Rudra beat me to it.

"You don't have to do that. I'm more than capable of carrying my own luggage" I mumbled.

"I know but I want to. Anyway, what kind of partner am I to let my woman carry her bags?" He said dismissively. I just rolled my eyes. He took my hand and headed to the carriage that was waiting for us. Rudra handed my luggage to one of the guards, who will be joining us and helped me get in the carriage. I thought he would climb in after me but he didn't.

"I need to do something for a bit. I won't be long" Rudra said quickly. He kissed my cheek and ran back to the pack house. He didn't give me a chance to respond.

While I was waiting for Rudra to come back, the carriage door opened. It was alpha Johnson. He climbed in the carriage, closing the door behind and taking a seat in front of me.

"Hello Rani, how are you doing? Are you looking forward to seeing my pack" alpha Johnson asked.

"I'm ok thanks and yes I'm looking forward to seeing your pack but not going to lie, I'm also bit nervous" I said honestly.

"Understandable. You have nothing to be nervous but I must warn you that not all of my pack members are use to having a demon and a vampire in the pack so I suggest that you stay close to prince Rudra or me, ok?" He said seriously.

"Ok, I will" I replied. He seemed happy with that.

"I also wanted to apologise to you" he said. I looked at him in confusion. Why is he apologising?

"Apologise for what?" I asked.

"I want to apologise how I treated you when I first met you" he started. I just waited for him to finish.

"I was lived when assaulted my daughter but it doesn't excuse her to how she treated you and I'm sorry about that. I seen how people treat you every time I come to visit here and you don't deserve that. Since I got to know you better, I can tell that you're caring person" he said sincerely. I just looked at him shocked.

"And quite frankly, I'm surprised that you haven't gone insane. It shows that how strong you truly are. Don't let people take that away from you, including me and my family" alpha Johnson said sternly. I just nodded to him and not knowing what to say.

"I know everything I'm saying is come to shock to you but I want you to know that you have an alley and you can come to me if you want to talk" he said truthfully. There was no hidden agenda or any bad blood. He actually ment it. I can tell in his eyes that it was general.

"Thank you alpha Johnson. That's means a lot" getting all teary. Alpha Johnson took out a handkerchief and wip my tears from my eyes.

"I'm sorry for making you cry" he said apologetically.

"No no it's ok, really" I assured him.

"Ok. I'll leave for now before prince Rudra comes. I don't want to face his wrath" he joked. Laughing nervously.

"Speaking of the devil. It looks like he's walking this way" alpha Johnson said as he looked out of the window. Yep Rudra is walking towards us and he doesn't looked happy. In matter of fact, he looked murderous. He yanked the door open and pulled me to his chest.

"MINE" Rudra growled. Alpha Johnson put his hands up in surrender.

"I know she is. We're were just talking, that's all but I'll be off and leave you two to it" he said respectfully and got out of the carriage. Rudra watched him leave for a minute then he climbed in. I looked over Rudra shoulder and saw that Alpha looking back. He winked at me and then went into the carriage in front of us. That was weird.

"What were you two talking about?" He asked suspiciously. Starting to get possessive.

"Just came to apologise to me to how he was treated me when he first met me" I said honestly.

"Hmmm good. It's about time" he grumbled.

"There's no need to be possessive. I'm yours as you are mine" I told him gently. He seems happy with that and gave butterflies kisses all over my face and then licked my scar.

"You damn right I'm you're mine and I'm yours" he said possessivly. I just rolled my eyes.

"Are you ready to see Blue Moon Pack, my pretty little demon?" Rudra asked.

"Yes swamp beast" I said excitedly.

"Good" he said and the carriage started moving.

It's been an hour we've been travelling and I'm tired.

"Are we nearly there yet cause my butt is sore" I whined.

"We got another hour to go, my pretty little demon" Rudra said apologetic.

"Is it possible to stretch my legs" I asked. Eager to get out of this stupid carriage.

"I'm afraid not, my love" he said softly. I groaned.

"But I could help you stretch your legs" Rudra suggested flirty and wiggling his eye brows.

"And how are you going to do that swamp beast?" I said seductively. Giving him a flirtatious look.

"I'll show you, beautiful" he whispered. Rudra bent down and took off my boots. He then lifted one of my legs and put it on his shoulder. He kissed the sole of my foot gently. He sucked my big toe and as he was doing that, his hand snaked it way up to my thigh and starting to massage it.

"I don't how this you helping me stretch?" I teased.

"Shhhh, just relax and watch" Rudra said softly. He lifted my leg further; moving my underwear to the side and inserted a finger. I fling my head back to the intrusion. I moaned when he started pumping his finger slowly as the same time teasing my clit with his thumb.

"How does that feel, my love?" Rudra asked lovingly.

"It feels so good, swamp beast. Don't stop" I breathed out. Enjoying him fingering me.

"As you wish, my pretty little demon" he whispered seductively. Rudra just inserted another finger when the carriage made a sudden stop.

"What's happening? Why did we stop?" I asked concerning.

"Not sure. I'll check it out" he stated. He quickly removed his hand and helped me put on my boots, then he climbed out of the carriage.

"Stay here and do not leave until I come back" he said seriously and not leaving any room for argument.

"Ok, just be careful" I said. Already getting worried about him.

"Don't worry. I will" he assured me and leaned over to kiss me then he left. It's only been a few minutes but it felt like eternity that Rudra left. I had a bad feeling about this. The hair on the back of my neck stand up. Something feel wrong. It doesn't feel right. Then I heard an exploration following by a scream. There was a ear piecing roar, making the carriage shake. What is going on? Who's attacking us?
