Chapter 30: There's No Need To Carry Me

It's been a whole month and my recovery is doing well. I'm feeling a lot better now, like my normal self. Rudra have been more affectionate towards me. He can't keep his hands off of me. I can't even sneeze without Rudra there catching it. He won't let me lift a finger to do anything. He reminded me that I'm a princess now and should be treated as such. Ever since our intimate moment in the garden, we made out every chance we get. I swear Rudra can't get enough of me. He always telling me how beautiful I am and how luck he is to have me in his life. However, he never goes as far as dry humping. He said he want our first time to be special. No matter how badly I want to go further, I'll respect Rudra wishes if that how important it is for him. So I'll wait; that how much he means to me.

I was walking around the pack house just to stretch my legs and avoiding Rudra at the same time. I just need a break from him with his constant touching and kissing. Don't get me wrong, I like the kissing and the touching next person but I need a break once in a while. I love the guy but he need to tone it down a notch. Starting to get hungry and I didn't want to wait for dinner, I headed to the kitchen to get a snack.

Once I've arrived to the kitchen and went straight to the fridge and took out some left over chicken and vegetables. I put the food on the counter and took out a frying pan. I light up the stove, put the frying pan on. I add the chicken first, frying it up a little. Once I was satisfied that the chicken was cooked enough, I added the vegetables and stired it all together with some herbs and spices. Once the food was done, I put it on a plate. I headed to the counter and sat behind it, on a stool and started eating. I was busy eating that I didn't notice someone was behind me. I felt big pair of hands grabbing my waist and lifted me up.

"What the hell?" I gasped. Rudra sat on the stool and put me on his lap.

"What you got there?" he asked curiously. Looking over my shoulder.

"Food" I stated. He just rolled his eyes.

"I know that, smart ass. I ment what did you make?"

"Chicken and vegetables stir fry" I said simple.

"You made it yourself?"

"Yes"

"You should made one of the omgas servant make you something to eat. You shouldn't be working" he said disapprovaling. I scuffed.

"I'm more than capable of making my own food" I said annoyed. Rudra grumbled.

"Well you shouldn't. You'll with me now and that's make you a princess, royalty. No woman of mine will not lift a finger. Ever" he said a matter of factly.

"Possessive much" I snorted.

"When it's it comes you then yes" he stated bluntly. I just gave him blank look. He picked up the fork and started feeding me.

"Rudra I can feed myself. I'm mot a baby" I said simple. Stopping him. He raised a brow at me.

"I'm sorry, who?" He teased. I huffed.

"Swamp beast. I can feed myself. Now can you give me my fork back and let me eat" I gritted out. Rudra just ignored me and try to feed me. After back and forwards of protesting, I gave up and let him feed me.

"What do you want to do today, my pretty little demon?" Rudra asked as he was feeding me.

"Can walk around the town? For change of scenery" I asked. There's so much seeing the garden than I can get. Rudra looked away for a bit, deep in thought.

"I'm not sure about that, my love" he said unsure of themselves.

"Please swamp beast, I'm tired going to the garden no matter how much I love it" I reasoned with him. He took a deep sigh.

"Fine. Cause you asked nicely then we can go" he groaned.

"Yay. You're the best, swamp beast" giving him a deep kiss on the lips and hugging him. He laughed.

"It's good thing that I love you" he said with so much affection in his voice.

"I know. Dido" nuzzling him. He nuzzled back and licked my scar on my left eye. I notice that he does that every time he see it. I honestly don't mind it as long it gives him comfort.

"We leave once you finished your food and giving you blood" he stated and he continued feeding me. I nodded.

"Wait. Ain't you going to eat?" I just realise he hadn't eaten yet.

"I'll eat later. Don't worry about it, my love" he replied and gave me a peck on a cheek.

"Ok" I said as I was finishing my food. Then Rudra gave me his blood from his arm. My goddess his blood tasted so good. I can't have enough of it that I think I'm addicted to it.

We've been in town about an hour and we have been looking around, and going into some shops. Every time I even look at something I like, Rudra insist of buying it for me and telling the shop owners to send to the pack house; and all of this his been carrying me, in his arms, this whole time. I told him theirs no need for that and I can walk myself but he ignored me and saying that I'm still not full recovered.

"Rudra, please put me down. People are watching and it's making me uncomfortable" I stressed out. Feeling uneasy as people are staring and whispering. Rudra looked unfazed by everyone and pay no mind to them.

"Then let them. I don't care if they stare and whisper and neither should you. Anyway it would let everyone know that you are mine and you belong to me, and if anyone dares says otherwise, I'll make sure they know what would happened" he said coldheartedly, looking at me dead in the eyes when he said it.

"Do I make myself clear, my love?" He asked seriously. I took a long sign and nodded.

"Words, my pretty little demon, I need hear you say it" he commanded.

"Yes. Perfectly clear swamp beast" I softly said. He kissed me on the forehead and licked my scar.

"Anyways, I love carrying you. It gives me a reason to hold you any chance I get" He said smugly and winking at me. I punched his chest playfully. We continued walking around the town.

After a while longer strolling around town, we headed back to the pack house. As soon as we stepped in the house, an omega servant was waiting by the entrance, bowing.

"Your majesty, the king requested your present and asked of you to meet him in his office" they respectfully said.

"What does he want now? Tell him I'm busy taking care of my future wife" he snapped. I wiped my head at him when he said that. Did I hear him right? Did he just say future wife? Was he talking about me? He must of done cause the servant had a shock on their face. Their jaw dropped to what they just heard him say but they quickly composed themselves and cleared their throat.

"The king was persistent that you come as soon as you have returned" they said nervously. Rudra grumbled.

"And come alone" they added as they looked at me. I felt a rumble coming from Rudra's chest. His eyes turned golden. Smoke coming out of his body. s**t! His dragon is threatening to come out. The omega servant was trembling with fright at this moment. I need to calm him down before he cause and destruction to the pack house; so I grabbed his face to look at me.

"Rudra, darling, I need you to breathe for me please. It's just you and me now. Nothing else matters. Just breathe" I cooed. He took a deep breath. Resting his forehead to mind.

"That's it. You're ok, I'm ok, we're ok. Just keep breathing for me sweetheart" I said calmly, stroking his cheek. He kissed my neck and took a deep sniff of my scent to calm himself down.

"Thank you, my love" he whispered gently to me.

"There's no need to thank me, swamp beast. That's what couples do" I replied honestly. He kissed me with so much affection. He bit my bottom lip which made me gasped, giving him access his tongue slide in my mouth. Giving all his passion and so much love into the kiss. We must of been kissing for a while cause the omega servant cleared their throat. I forgot they were still standing there. Rudra growled, facing the servant. His eyes still golden.

"What" he snapped impatiently and getting agitated now.

"You need to see your father, remember" I reminded him. He scuffed.

"Fine but it better be important otherwise there will be hell to pay" he warned to no one in particular.

"Let me take back to our room first then I'll see him" Rudra said more calmly now. I shook my head.

"It's fine swamp beast. I could walk back to the room myself. It's clearlythat the king want to see you straight away" I said sincerely. He frowned.

"But I want to make sure that you're settling in nicely" he said with concern in his voice.

"How about this. The omega servant escort me back to the bedroom as you're going to meet your fat?" I bargained. Rudra took a moment to think about it.

"Fine, as you wish, my love" he signed defeatedly. I gave him a kiss on a cheek and he nuzzled my nose. He looked back at the omega servant.

"Make sure she returned to our room safely and give her what ever she needs. Got it" he warned them viciously.

"Yes, of course your majesty" they replied respectfully and nodding obediently. He gave them a short nod and he put me down. He gave me a peck on the lips and lick my scar. Before he left, he gave the servant a warning stare as he went to see his father.

The omega servant escort me back to the bedroom. However, as we were headed to the bedroom, I heard someone called out.

"I see that you're still alive then? It seems that you're hard to kill"
