Chapter 46.3: Having Dinner With The Council: You Have Been Reborn

Awaken? What she mean awaken? And she's my wolf? I don't have a wolf.

"What do you mean I've awaken? Is that mean I'm dead then?" I asked concerned. Oh no! My swamp beast will be heartbroken. He's not going to cope. He's going to destroy everyone and everything. He'll burn the whole kingdom down.

"No, sweetheart, you're not dead but you're not alive either. Basically your in between life and death" she explained. That doesn't make sense. It's just confusing.

"Umm ok. So you're really my wolf" asked curiously. She nodded.

"Do you have a name?"

"No. I don't have a name" she answered.

"So what do I call you?"

"Whatever you want. I am your wolf after all" she said simply. What do I call her? She's golden, almost like she is shining and she's has midnight purple eyes flecks of white that looks like stars. Rudra calls me his shining star. That's it. I know what to call her.

"I'll call you midnight star because of your eyes and your fur" I said thoughtfully.

"Hmmm I like it. Good name" She said. Sounding pleased with it.

"I can't wait to tell Rudra that I got wolf. He will be thrilled" I said excitedly. However, midnight star looked at me with guilt. Why does she look guilty?

"Well, about that. Rudra already knows about me" she said sheepishly. What did she say?

"What?"

"He already knows about me"

"What?" I repeated in disbelief.

"He already knows about me" she repeated gently. Looking guilty.

"How long had he known about you?" I questioned.

"A few months" she answered nervously.

"A FEW MONTHS? HE HAD KNOWN ABOUT YOU FOR A FEW MONTHS AND HE HASN'T TOLD ME?" I yelled. She whimpered. How could he keep this from me. We do not keep secrets from each other. Why didn't he tell me? When I see him, I'm going to kill him.

"It's not his fault. I told him not to tell you" midnight star rushed out.

"You did what?" I asked. Starting to get pissed off.

"I told him to keep it a secret" she whimpered out.

"Why would you do that?" I said annoyed.

"Cause you wasn't ready to know about me then" she said simply.

"So you made him not to tell me about you?" It wasn't a question. I was just angry that she done that to me.

"If it makes you feel any better, he was against the idea" she said softly.

"Only a little bit" I mumbled under my breath. She looked relieved.

"Well at lease I can run with Rudra's wolf now" i said cheerfully but yet again midnight star looked guilty.

"What now?"

"I've already ran with Rudra's wolf" she said hesitantly, lowing her head. I just stared at her.

"You did what now?"

"I ran with Rudra's wolf"

"You got to be kidding me?" I said. Swing my arms in the air in disbelief. I took a deep breath to calm myself down.

"Is there anything else I should know about?" I gritted out. She just shook her head. That's good. Then I heard a voice in the distance.

"I'm so sorry, my love. I didn't protect you" was that Rudra? It sounds like him.

"You can't leave me. If you die then I die and I'm not ready to die so that means you're not ready to die" he whispered. Yep that's Rudra. Oh no he thinks I'm dead.

"I told I'm not strong without you. So don't leave me" Rudra said sobbed. Was he crying? My poor swamp beast is distraught of loosing me. I can't let him think I'm dead.

"We will be reunited soon, my love. I promise you that. Nothing can't stop me from coming back for you" He promised me. Don't worry Rudra, we will be reunited. I need to get back to him.

"Need to leave. How do I get out of here? My swamp beast needs me" I asked desperately. The sooner I leave, the soon i get to him.

"I know he does. He's loosing control" midnight star agreed.

"Ok so now that you agree. How do I get out of here?" I asked and getting ansy.

"Go to the fountain and jumped in" she instructed.

"Ok and thank you" I said greatfully. I stepped on the edge of the fountain to get ready to jump.

"Anytime. Now jump in and go to Rudra. It's time for you to be awaken. You'll be reborn" she said softly and before I could say goodbye, she pushed me in the fountain. I fell into the depths of the water. As I falling in to the water, I saw Rudra was half way transforming. I thought he would shift into his dragon but to my utter surprise, his wolf and dragon transformed into one. They were infused together. His head body was wolf and his eyes and wings from his dragon. He was standing two legs like a normal person and he was huge; almost as tall as the ceiling. I also saw that the dining hall was on fire and the St.Clear and his parents were looking absolutely petrified. They were like lambs waiting to be slaughtered.

As I was sinking down into the water, there was a bright light. It was small first, then it grew bigger. However, as the light was getting biggest, there was something dragging me down. I couldn't see what it was cause the light was blinding me. I had to shield my eyes to how bright it was and next thing I knew was that I was sucked in.

Rudra

I was ready to unleashed my wrath on everyone. They will pay for their sins. They will all pay to what they did to Rani. My pretty little demon. I will have my vengeance for her.

"You will die by my hands. You will pay for your sins. I will give slow and extreme pain that you couldn't imagine" I said darkly and murderously. My wolf and dragon spoke as one.

"Rudra, you can't kill me. You will be extreme pain" Raiden rushed out.

"Yes, you can't harm my daughter. You won't harm my daughter" Luna Mary agreed. I laughed like they told a hilarious joke.

"Does it looked like I care? Does make you think that would save your miserable lives?" I asked wickedly and a sinister smile plastered on my face. They paled.

"You need to stop this, now. Order by the council" elder lycan said with authority. I growled.

"Oh! And what would you do if I don't?" I dared. Glaringly at him iceily. I was ready to skin him alive. He was silent. The elder witch spoke for his behalf.

"I would have to confined you with in trapment spell and chain you up with dragon and wolf bane" she said plainly. I snorted.

"You think your that would stop me, witch?" I said with venom in my voice.

"You will die if you kill everyone" elder dragon said indefinitely. I glared at him. How dare he threatened me. I make sure I'll kill him last.

"Is that a threat?" I questioned viciously.

"It's not a threat. Just a warning. You don't want to die now, do you? You want to live" He stated. Is he delusional? Does he think that would stop me? That would change my mind? I couldn't help but laugh at his statement.

"What is there to live for? You killed one person worth living. You killed peace, my love of my life, my everything and you think I want to live? and now you're going to pay" I spat. Getting tired of hearing them complaining. I roared; letting my flames burn everything around me. Everyone was huddled up together and bracing what to come. I was about to strike them when alpha Johnson spoke.

"Prince Rudra, look. It's Rani. Something is happening to her" he shouted out as he was pointing behind me. I look over where he was pointing and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Rani body was glowing light purple. The blood from her neck was drawn back in and her neck was healing. Then there was black and purple smoke swirling around her, and lifting her off the ground. She was floating now. There was a powerful wind blowing around us. Everything in the hall was flying around. Rani's flames swirl around her ferociously. Then she glowed so brightly that I had to cover my eyes. However, it only lasted a few seconds and everything started to calm down. Her flames started to die down and slowly put Rani down gently on her feet. She has stopped glowing and she opened her eyes slowly. She looked around and then looked at me. She smiled at me warmly.

"I'm back. What did I miss?"
