Helio’s POV
I blinked at Kora as she finished explaining her plan. She wiggled her eyebrows and smirked down at me proudly. I wasn’t sure what to say. Was she really going to go through with that?
“How’s that for all the bonus points imaginable?” she asked.
As much as I liked the idea, I found myself shaking my head. “It’s too dangerous.” I had been hoping this was the path she’d choose, but now that she’d said it aloud, I knew we couldn’t do it.
Kora scoffed, folding her arms. “You honestly expect me to believe you don’t want it to go this way? It gets your father off your back, doesn’t step on anyone’s toes too hard, and clears the way for the making out you’re obviously planning.”
My face heated, and she grinned.
“Might even give you enough time to f**k her.”
