My hands were still around his body. My hands fell to my sides first and the smile on my face vanished. I got off him like I made contact with a live wire that sent shocks through my body. I tucked a few strands of hair behind my ears as I looked down at the ground.
“I’m sorry. I was just so excited. I apologize for touching you”
He didn’t say anything though I heard his footsteps receding from where I was standing. I heard a chair scratch on the ground which made me look up. He was standing behind a chair that he just pulled out.
Was this another guessing game where I was supposed to guess what a lady was expected to do when a guy pulled a chair out for her?
I walked slowly towards him and, meeting his eyes, I tried to send him a questioning look. He left his face purposely blank whil……
