My beta was getting on my nerves so bad that if he were someone else, he would have been well on his way to wherever it was that people went to after death.

I kept reminding myself that Alex was merely stupid and did not have a death wish. He was only trying to poke the bear as a joke; he didn’t really want to get eaten.

“Niklaus, what I’m saying is that people are scared to even breathe loudly because they think you will snap their necks or throw them in the dungeon.”
