I looked at her from where I was standing with my hand still on the light switch. My eyes, which were narrowed because of how annoying the scream she let out was, trailed down her naked body that she tried to cover with the little scraps of clothes that she held so close like they were going to save her from me.
It had been a painful four hours waiting for her to wake up from her slumber. While she was unconscious, I had wanted to tear into her skin and get that bastard out of her womb, but I couldn’t.
No matter how disgusted I was with her for opening her legs to another man and carrying his baby, or how angry I was that she had allowed another man who wasn’t me to touch her in the way that I alone was supposed to, I couldn’t bring myself to give her that much pain.
