Chapter 8: A Bizarre World

“What the hell?”

There was a woman on a podium, with each of her limbs tied to two poles on either side of her, making her look like a starfish.

That wasn’t even the bizarre part of it.

What made me curse out loud and understand the common sentiment of the crowd was the fact that she had been stripped of her clothes, and had nothing on. I could see a heap of clothing by the side of the podium not too far from where she was tied, which meant that she had been stripped naked on the podium. As if that was not enough, someone had written the word “w***e” on her body in a vertical manner in red marker. To top it all off, the scent of arousal was in the air, which meant that some men in the crowd were admiring the view.
