Chapter 101:The first stage

“Where the hell is she? She’s 30 minutes behind schedule already” I mumbled as I watched the second hand tick on my wristwatch while I waited for my date to arrive. The agreed time was 7 pm. It was already 7:30 pm and there were no signs of her. What was even more rude was that there were no texts or calls from her to inform me that she was going to be a bit late or to explain her absence. It was just radio silence from her end and that was so irritating because she was muddying my whole plan without realizing it.

“She doesn’t even have the decency to pick up her calls”

I ran my hand through my hair that was recently trimmed as I put my phone to my ear and listened to it ring. She wasn’t picking up. I wasn't the kind of person to keep calling when someone was not taking my calls, but……
