“Wait…You're really saying that he wants to see you? As in Axel wants to meet up with you tonight?” Elaine asked for the hundredth time.
I nodded in response, over the video call. She squealed loudly and wouldn't stop talking about it. “OMG. Do you know what this means?” She asked.
“That my plan to get Axel wrapped around my fingers would work soon enough,” I replied.
“What?” She was confused at first. “I mean yes. But it also means that Axel might actually like you. Don't you think?” She inquired
I haven't thought about that at first. “Isn't that the entire plan? To get home to fall for me?”
She was about to respond when suddenly I heard a door bell. I gasped, panicking because I was……
