I walked into my room, my mind still reeling from the conversation I had with my father. He wanted Kaiden to be under my wing, to learn from me and eventually take on a leadership role within the pack. I couldn't help but feel hesitant about the idea.

As I sat down on my bed, my beta, Logan, entered the room. "Hey, Axel, what's going on?" he asked, noticing the look of concern on my face.

I sighed, running my hands through my hair. "My father wants Kaiden to be under my wing," I said, trying to process the idea.
