Rhys just stares at Ve. If there is one person in which he would lose focus for, it would have to be Ve. He knows he did wrong, but the reason is justifiable enough in his mind.
There is a roar from the crowd as Leiden kicks Otis down to the mat. Ve doesn’t look behind her as she grips Rhys by the face, her palms pressing hard, her nose is only one-hundred millimeters away from his, her eyes boring directly into his. Her stomach twists in anxiety. She has no idea what is coming next, but she has to make him understand one thing.
