The announcer feels like he shouldn't have wasted the time to exit the ring, victory once again grabbed so easily. His mission is forgotten, he is not sure whether he could turn the crowd against Rhys even if he tried his hardest but he plays into it much more than he should because even if he knows his mission and the stipulations of getting the position, his own excitement at the upset matches the crowd.
