Rhys stands at the door of the dungeon with a manilla folder held to his chest and his other hand down by his side, his fist clenching and unclenching in his agitation. Game of the mind, he is calm, he repeats it over and over again, trying not to think about the fact that he is separated from her by armed guards, a set of heavy doors, numerous security protocols and cell bars and probably a variety of restraints.
The two guards just stand staring at him, unsure of whether he is going to break inside. He has only spoken one sentence since arriving. ‘I need to see her’
Of course, they have no authority to let anyone, even a prince into the dungeons. The area is completely controlled by the King, all they could do was put the call out to Alaric, but he has blocked all communication.
