"Shhh someone is coming"
Rhys tries to pay attention to the noises coming from outside, but it is impossible to shift his focus from anything but the hand on his chest, the rest of her body is so close to his he can feel the heat radiating from her.
They get so close in a training capacity, but it is just for such short times and nothing like this, which is lucky because he wouldn’t have learned a damn thing.
He sees her tilting her head slightly at each little sound, gathering information, taking in the whole picture, putting it all together to work out exactly where they are and what they are doing.
He tries to replicate her action, instead all that lingers on his nose is the soft scent of her hair, even though he knows she's concentrating on everywhere else. He can't help but feel he……
