Clara's face is indifferent, but she's smiling on the inside. She may be losing all the prestige she had with her gallant entrance, but it is worth it to see Alaric squirm. The last time she saw him she was the one that had to pretend, she was the one that hated every minute. There were so many words that she wanted to say back then, even the day of Rhys' birth, she wanted to tell him that he is a disgusting pig and that she is leaving him, she wanted to be strong and noble. Instead, she laid on a hospital bed as weak as she had ever been, getting eaten alive by her own thoughts. Now she is finally getting a chance to show him.
It may be torturous for him, but it is not nearly as bad as it was living like that for five long years. It is not that Clara doesn’t want to tell the story, she ……
