Rhys spins around, feeling like he is facing off with her for a second time today. This time he's facing her in amusement instead of anger.
"Why? It'll be much the same anyway"
"How could it possibly be?"
"Well, you are there to protect me, whether by my side or behind me"
"It is not the same thing at all. I cannot do my job to the best of my ability from that position"
Ve has seen how Arrabella handles that sort of circumstance, socializing, making pleasantries, all the things that would put Ve so far out of her comfort zone and leave her little to no time to actually do the job she's meant to do.
His idea is idiotic and bordering on offensive, as well as being incredibly dangerous.
"Come on Ve, I need you to run protection for me in a different way"
