Rhys looks at the door, the whole action was incredibly funny, there is a smile on his face even though he is acutely aware of the position he is still in. He enjoyed all of that, coming up with a solution, shutting down the warriors, but most of all he enjoyed the kiss. There has never been another in his life that has ever come close to the same feeling.
He looks back at the Ve with a combination of wanting to continue what they started and wanting praise for his quick thinking.
The face he looked away from, the slightly love-struck, mostly shocked, lightly blushed-cheeked woman is gone. What he is greeted with instead is a face flushed with anger, frustration and mostly confusion. Her violet eyes look three shades colder and suddenly the warm body he was holding seems to lose all its h……
