Ryan sits on the bank overlooking the creek he goes to when he needs a break from everything. He's loved his time with Britt since they started sneaking around, but now that it is all out in the open, his heart feels fuller.

His relationship with Britt has been a hot topic in his family's home for weeks. His father always tries to play peacekeeper whenever his grandfather lays into him about solidifying the family's place in the hierarchy.

The way Ryan saw it, this curse was his family's fault! They deserve to be cursed above anyone else here. They certainly didn't deserve to be the ones to give a f**k you to the Goddess by finding and obtaining the loophole out of it.

What are your thoughts on Ryan? It seems he may have been the unsung hero throughout the story. He made sure Becca would never trust his family enough to accept them in her life. He may have been aware of the attraction between Chad and Becca, perhaps intentionally pushing them together. Possibly, his outburst at the party was to force Patrick to be seen as a protector and she would stay close. I wonder if Ryan has earned partial forgiveness, which was why he came across Britt. Either way, it seems Ryan has genuinely stepped out from under his family's thumb and aired the dirty laundry in an attempt to help. What do you think Ryan's next move will be?
