It seems to be a like-mother, like-son scenario. I wonder how Richard will continue to support her now. Will Anne-Marie face the justice she deserves just as much as her slippery son? Or will her connections in the council prevail over this and allow her to remain free? *** Notice: A few of the readers seem bothered by the violence… I did post in the description that there were chapters with triggers and darkness… but to let everyone know, this is the last chapter in which Rebecca suffers violence or abuse.
