The Royal Army advanced on the territory in trained and organized formation. The expressions were stone. A member of the royal family was taken without consent. This was considered an act of war, and the warriors pledged to always fight for the court. There wasn't a shifter in the world, especially wolves, who didn't know what kidnapping a royal family member meant-- it was high treason. The penalty was death.
They have been marching for hours. They left the cargo transport in neutral territory and carried on foot to gain the element of surprise and post warriors at points to trap runaway wolves. Nothing is more intimidating to rogue wolves than an army of Lycans arriving in full battle armour.
The cargo transports would meet them in town later with assigned drivers to collect the guilty ……
