The trio met with Director McNally and the three council members at the headquarters for debriefing.
The conference room was tense, and most council members could not tolerate both Layton brothers' hybrid energy collectively in one room.
It put their wolves on edge. If it were in an open space, the level of dominant energy would be more tolerable. However, when enclosed and together, it suffocated even an alpha wolf.
