Luna
‘No,’ I managed to whisper, struggling to pry my fingers from the earth. My arms and legs were growing stiffness and weak as if they were almost rooted to the ground. “Not now.”
Luna, stay awake! Moon’s voice pierced into my brain, her words clear as if she was right in front and screaming at me, but her voice was so far away as if she was calling me from across the valley.
I shut it slowly and feeling my eyes close, my vision was hazy due to the weakness and sickness that was consuming me. The last thing I saw before the thick blackness enveloped me was a figure approaching, the sunlight reflecting off something shiny. A badge?
“Wolf scouts,” I whispered at best before I drooped off to sleep.
When I next woke up, I heard the crackle of fire and smelled something that reminded me of memori……
