Laughter fills the dining room, along with the aroma of roasted lamb, garlic, and freshly baked focaccia. The long wooden table is crowded with plates of delicacies that Mama and I prepared. The wine flows, the candles flicker, and the air thickens with love, warmth, and the joy that only family can provide.
Papa begins with one of his legendary stories, which we have all heard a hundred times but still enjoy as if they were the first.
