Seeing that Laurel was curious but not the type to ask questions, Scarlett took it upon herself to explain the significance of the official area.
"This is the official area of the pack where the pack house is. Originally, it's Darius' work place—the pack house, that is. Surrounding the pack house is the training ground for the most important group of soldiers who work closely with Darius. It also has some of the important commercial buildings where the economy-controlling business offices are. That's why this place is different. You'll see fewer people on the street and very few cars. There is no public transportation. That's because this place is off-limits for most people."
Laurel soaked in the information, nodding from time to time to indicate that she was listening.
"Are we allowed here?"……
