They stopped by a flower store in no time. Darius looked at the variety of flowers and fell into deep contemplation. There were so many choices that it was impossible to tell which one was suitable to gift her.
"Is this for your girlfriend?" The shopkeeper, a young girl, asked enthusiastically.
Seeing that the two serious-looking men were staring at her flowers like it was a math problem, she came over to help.
Darius looked up and nodded seriously, then shook his head. "For my mate. She's getting discharged from the hospital today."
The girl nodded frantically, "Oh. What's her favorite flower?"
Obviously, he had no clue. Would it be so hard to buy flowers if he knew? It was not an exaggeration to say that he didn't know a lot except for her name and appearance.
