Laurel waited for him to let go of her waist. She didn't want to sound like a spoilt brat who wasn't thankful for his help. She waited five seconds, ten seconds, and fifteen seconds.
People were watching them on their way back and forth. Some even clicked pictures. They were stuck close together, with his arm around her waist. The posture was a bit too intimate for two people who were not that familiar.
