Sierra’s POV

After the movie, Mrs. Lawrence suggested going out to eat at a casual restaurant. I hesitated, wondering if I should change again, but she waved me off. “You look fine, Sierra. It’s nothing fancy.”

Zoe, who had rejoined us by then, overheard the plan and chimed in. “I’ll come along with Jayden,” she said brightly.

Mrs. Lawrence raised an eyebrow but didn’t protest. “Jason will meet us there,” she added.

Zoe’s smile grew. “Perfect. I’ll just tag along with Jayden, then.”

I said nothing, but inside, a sinking feeling told me trouble was brewing.

Mrs. Lawrence’s calm voice cut through the quiet as she addressed Jayden, who had just come downstairs, looking as effortlessly handsome as ever. “No problem, Jayden. Just take your car and bring Zoe. I’ll drive Sierra and me to the restaurant……
