Sierra’s POV

The next morning, I woke early, determined to make progress. I had told Jayden I’d visit his office, but first, I needed to be prepared. I spent hours researching possible ways to delay a high-profile wedding. From venue bookings to legal technicalities, I scoured every angle I could think of.

When I finally arrived at Jayden’s office, he was already there, pacing back and forth. His expression brightened slightly when he saw me, but the tension in his shoulders remained.

“Did you talk to your mom?” I asked, setting my bag down.

He nodded, his jaw tight. “She’s willing to help, but she’s cautious. She said my father’s been more stubborn than usual lately, and Alpha Baker is relentless.”
