Sierra’s POV
Bella wore something similar, and together, we headed downstairs to say goodbye to Mrs. Lawrence. She gave us a warm smile, telling us to have fun and instructing the driver to wait for us until we were ready to leave. Her kindness felt like a protective shield, and I held onto it as we made our way to the car.
The drive to the beach was filled with Bella’s chatter, mostly about her excitement to see her date again. I found myself smiling at her energy, grateful for the distraction she provided. When we arrived, the beach was alive with activity. The setting sun painted the sky in hues of orange and pink, and the air was filled with the mingling sounds of waves crashing and laughter from other beachgoers.
As we stepped out of the car, I immediately felt eyes on us. Men stared, so……
