I stared down at Rowan, furious. I had too high of expectations of the 2 guards I gave permission to feed on him. They clearly couldn't handle it. I looked upon his broken body and felt my agitation rising further. Why did I need to tend to him? He was pathetic and worthless to the cause.
I sighed in vain, since I had no choice. I made the decision to bring him now he was my responsibility. I stormed off to get supplies begrudgingly.
The pack house was eerily quiet as I made my way to the supply room and kitchen. My heels were too noisy so I held them in my hand. I stopped by my room to switch into more comfortable shoes.
I grabbed some wash rags, antiseptic, and a bucket of soapy water. I stopped by the kitchen to grab him some water and something to eat.
I grumbled under my breath as……
