Dimitri came back to the room after I had already slipped under the covers. I was worried about the sudden pain I had felt from my mate and even more worried about why it had stopped as quickly as it had begun. I had not heard back from Ellie yet. I mind linked her earlier asking her to try to check on Rowan. She had immediately tried to go to his apartment only to have Dimitri's guards block her path, saying the border was closed. She had yet to find a way to reach his subconscious again with Ren but had told me she would keep trying.
