Eric Bush smiled at Doris and said, "I just thought I'd come and surprise you here. You are surprised, aren't you?"
Doris was dumbstruck.
Meanwhile, Clark had been about to hand the mobile phone to Doris, but he accidentally hung up the phone. Before being cut off, though, heard Eric's voice was heard on the other end of the line.
Damn it! – thought Westley – Eric is always one step ahead of me!
Clark didn't want to admit that he had accidentally hung up the phone, so he quietly slipped it back into his Mother's pocket. Then he hurried back to get a second look at the stranger at the door.
