Her thoughts of weariness soon took over her as Stetson did succeed in knocking her down with a swift kick.
The moment her buttocks hit the ground, a loud wail escaped her mouth. This wasn’t something that had happened before. She was defeated without managing to lend any bruise on him.
The strong knight walked up to the defeated princess and offered his hand to help her get her on her feet. Astrid gracefully declined it, and asked instead, “Why didn’t you injure me?”
What came next broke her heart. With no form of pity evident on his face, he declared, “You’re too weak. Defeating you was easy. Besides greet defensive skills, you don’t have anything else.”
Instead of dwelling on the hurt, Astrid got back on her feet and challenged Stetson once again, “Let’s do this one more time.”
“Why?”……
