“What shall I do now?” let out Astrid while strolling back and forth.
Unable to come up with a sound reason behind his father’s decision behind assigning not one but several guards to guard a single exit, Astrid settled on her desk.
“Someone must have seen me leaving the villa. They must’ve informed him,” pondered Astrid. “Otherwise, it doesn’t make sense for him to take such an unexpected action.”
That’s when another suggestion came drifting in from an unexpected source, “Maybe, he did that to avoid infiltration. He must have been reported about someone’s attempt of infiltration.”
Astrid quickly turned to look towards the window. There, she saw the source of that suggestion. It was Davies.
“How did you enter the mansion? Didn’t the guards catch you?” wondered Astrid while looking at the……
