"At this juncture, I can only hope for annihilating that man. He ruined everything. He manipulated me into thinking that he loved me as well. The pain of being rejected is too much for my heart. I can't do this. If I'd see his face again, I'll kill him," declared Astrid.
After making the declaration, she got into a fetal position to protect herself from the wild winds that blew from the barred windows. While struggling to maintain the heat, the woman searched for a comforter. She couldn't find anything to cover herself. The strong winds made her shudder.
"Mother, give me strength," she breathed out while rubbing her hands together.
As if the cold beating of the wintry air wasn't enough to torment the woman, the prison inmates began yelling and cheering for the fallen emperor. The hooting……
