Davies reached the mansion that was inhabited by his pack. It had only been a week since his departure, but his father seemed frustrated over it, "How come you decide to come back on your own? Since you began living with the humans, I began believing that you'd forget about us."
The emperor bowed down in front of the alpha and declared, "How can that be? Obligations stand before other things."
The father was delighted to hear his response. Since the alpha knew that his son understood his duties well, he wasn't sure about the reason behind his consecutive withdrawals. So he asked him, "Why did you go back?"
"It's a matter of immense significance to me. Thus, I would prefer to share it in isolation," requested Davies.
