“Young lady, we’ll discuss this matter further in the woods after you’ve managed to finish two rounds of the whole ground,” declared Stetson before leaving.
With shock evident in her voice, Astrid asked fearfully, “Do you mean to say that I do that by today itself?”
“Yes, I mean the whole training area within two hours,” responded Stetson.
Not willing to grind in such heat for hours, Astrid argued, “Why do I have to go through this? This is the first time I overslept. Don’t you think you’re being too strict? This is the first time I failed to be present for training. There’s no need for you to be too harsh. I’m just sixteen.”
He clearly didn’t agree that she could be spared just because she was young.
