I looked into her eyes and said, "You don't have to give me an heir if you don't want to, I won't force you, I will never do that, what Theo did in giving you the ultimatum, was your breaking point and I wish I could go back and do things differently."

She hugged me tightly and said, "Help me find my son, Dominic, make me whole again," I heard her sobs and I hated I had caused her so much pain. I had to fix this and Theo agreed because he wanted Aries's forgiveness, he asked, "What do we do about Ruby?" I said, "I don't know, but right now, let's focus on finding her son and Pax," Mia said, "Promise me you won't kill Pax," I went silent, and she looked me in the eyes and said, "Promise me, Dom, don't kill him." I knew this meant a lot to her, so I promised her I wouldn't harm a hair on his head. I woke up to Ruby inside my head asking, "Where are you, my love?"
