Lucy stared angrily at Vivian, who was looking as pretentious as ever. At that moment, if she had had the freedom to say one thing to her, it would be this: Get off you high horse!
Unfortunately, she was not free to speak her mind. William needed Vivian and she knew that, if she f****d it up for him, he would never forgive her. One thing she could do though was remind Vivian who was in charge. She turned to Aria and said, “Please take Vivian away and get her ready. The conference is about to begin.”
Aria nodded and she led Vivian to the next room, where she proceeded to shout urgent commands to her underlings; Vivian included.
Once they were gone, William took Lucy’s hand and they went back to the conference room to ensure that nothing had been missed. Jet.com was William’s baby an……
