“Rubbish!”Elijah seemed to be losing his mind. “Are you suggesting that I should kill if that’s what the occasion calls for?”
Emanuel nodded, “What else could you do? What else has your purpose become since you’ve arrived here?”
“I’ve only been concerned about survival,” he answered in a breath. “But, that doesn’t mean—”
Emanuel saw the struggle that Elijah was facing. To help him get comfortable with the idea, he argued, “Just remember your purpose. You need to play to survive. The means do not matter as long as you’re able to escape this island alive.”
“This place has corrupted all of your thoughts. Instead of listening to the organiser’s instructions and playing their ridiculous games, we should gang up on them and kill them instead. Now we even have weapons,” suggested Elijah.
