“I think we’ve already discussed that fixated morals wouldn’t take us anywhere in the game,” spoke Petra, becoming fidgety.
I shook my head and then repeated to myself, “I can’t even imagine doing something so atrocious.”
“Okay. What do you think would happen to me if you were to take my pass to one of the guards?” she asked me with a visible smile on her face.
I exerted a deep breath to release some of the tension and then told her, “They will execute you.”
“To be precise, I can state that you’d be responsible for my death?” She put it quite blatantly.
Unable to entertain her query, I became quiet. I couldn’t agree with her views even when I knew that she was telling me the truth.
“Now that you realise the truth of the situation, you become quiet,” She asked me in a belligerent tone.
