Part of me was scared Jax would attack me when I asked him this but the other part didn't care.

I met his eyes, "I would like to be Grace's first. I don't want her to be scared of mating. I know what happens when you mark your mate."

Jax's eyes widened, clearly this was not what he was expecting. I was losing my mate for crying out loud was he really going to take everything from me?

"I .....I know I won't be able to touch her after," I continued. "Your wolf won't let me. If you truly believe in fated mates, then you understand why I'm asking this. I can feel it in my whole body when she barely touches my skin."

"What makes you think she's ready and willing to do that, even with you," he said crossing his arms.
