I couldn't move. I just stared after where Silas had gone. I felt like my heart had been ripped out of my body and then I watched it walk away.

Jax came up behind me, wrapping his arms around me, "What happened?" his voice was soft and soothing.

"I....I don't know," I stammered. "He doesn't want me. He doesn't want my help."

"He just needs a minute I'm sure. This has to be overwhelming for him. Hell, it's overwhelming for me and I haven't gone through this personally before," Jax said taking my hand. "We gotta go inside. They are ready to talk."
