That was when Luna Jasmine told Jax she planned on returning. Jax and I had just gotten back from horseback riding and while I'd enjoyed myself, I still had an air of sadness about me.

Jax and I were giving treats to our horses when Jax suddenly asked, "May I ask a personal question?"

I glanced at him in surprise, "Ok..." I had no idea what he wanted to know.

"Is Silas.... just your gamma in training or.... is there something more going on?" he asked tentatively.

I focused on Bella as I brushed her mane, unsure of how to answer that, "I would like to think Silas and I are friends," I treaded carefully.

"I know you guys are still young but....I meant what I said yesterday. You guys appear to have a connection," Jax pushed nervously.
