He behaved as if he was raised for this life. Right now he looked defeated. He joined me at the bar, signaling for a drink. After finishing half his beer in a gulp he turned to me. "You were right." I shrugged sipping from my drink. I was always right. "Which time? When I told you that Angelica was a jealous b***h and you could do better. Or when I warned you that you needed to be better to my daughter during that year we coparented? Could it be my warning that she was plotting against a child and to open your eyes? Or was it a more recent warning? Let me guess she was trying to find away to get her trust from my grandfather. Its the real reason Angelica is after my grandchildren. She thinks she will have a case if she's granted custody." He gulped more of his drink, silently confirming my words.
