I smiled at Dale as he greeted me and headed in to where my family was waiting. I had met him the other day when we finished up the adoption papers. Jacob was legally mine.

Now, we stood in the courthouse to get married. I wanted to be excited. I just hated the dress I was in. Somehow over the last week I have doubled in size. My dress only enhanced that.

I tried being stronger than my upbringing. Yet, standing here in this white dress I felt like an imposter. Angelica words of me not being enough were loud in my head. My rounded face and tummy made me wince. It was lies all lies. I was under my goal weight and my doctor was not pleased.

My tummy was round not because I was overweight but because I had two precious angels sleeping under my heart.

Tears filled my eyes as her cruel laughter soun……

I gave her my well wishes and one of the twins sent me the recording" he answered my question of if he knew his sister had gotten married. Angelica was upset she wasn't there. I was as well. I never thought one of my girls would want to do something that big without me present. "Why didn't you tell me?" I asked him. He looked pointedly at his mother. I bristled at his insinuation. "We just want peace. She's married has children we just want to be a part of her life. We raised her." I defended as Angelica started sobbing at her sons action. "You may want that but I've seen enough to let you know that's not her intention" he replied. "I am your mother do you not love me anymore" she snapped at him. "I will always love you but I don't like you. Your motives around Taylor are cruel and I can't condone it. Now please get out and stop asking me stuff about her." He turned from us.
